Hispanic ethnicity is the percentage of the total population that is of Hispanic origin, regardless of race. This indicator measures the ethnicity characteristics of the population, based on self-reported ethnicity identification. A person of Hispanic ethnicity is anyone who identifies with that group, and so can be of any race.
